3. What Data We Process

Our website does not collect any personal data from visitors through forms or registrations.

3.1 Technical Cookies

  • Purpose: Ensuring basic website functionality (e.g., remembering cookie consent)
  • Type: Necessary technical cookies
  • Storage period: During browser session or max. 1 year
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

3.2 Analytics Tools (Matomo)

Purpose: Website traffic statistics for service improvement

Settings:

  • Matomo is configured not to store any identifiable personal data
  • All IP addresses are fully anonymized (last 2 bytes shortened)
  • We do not use cookies to track visitors across sessions
  • We display only aggregated statistical data without the ability to identify specific users
  • We regularly delete visitor logs older than 180 days
  • Data is stored exclusively on our servers in the Czech Republic

Cookies used:

  • MATOMO_SESSID - Temporary short-term cookie that provides a nonce (random number) for CSRF attack prevention when opting out of tracking

No tracking: We do not use cross-site tracking or other forms of tracking between websites

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) - traffic analysis to improve our services

3.3 OpenStreetMap (Contact Map)

Purpose: Displaying a map with our location to help visitors navigate

What happens:

  • On the contact page, we display an interactive map through OpenStreetMap service
  • The map is loaded from external OpenStreetMap servers (openstreetmap.org)
  • When loading the map, technical data (IP address, browser type) may be transferred to OpenStreetMap servers
  • OpenStreetMap does not use tracking cookies or target advertising

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not share your personally identifiable data with any third parties.

Exceptions:

  • The Matomo analytics tool is operated on our own server in the Czech Republic
  • OpenStreetMap processes technical connection data when loading the map (see section 3.3)

Even though we do not actively collect personal data, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Right of access to information about data processing (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification of any inaccuracies (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17 GDPR)

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data:

  • Encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Regular system security updates
  • Restricted access to servers and data
  • Data backups
  • Firewall and antivirus protection

7. Data Retention Period

  • Technical cookies: Maximum 1 year or until deleted by the browser
  • Matomo cookies: During browser session
  • Analytics data (Matomo): Maximum 13 months, then automatically deleted
  • Server logs: Maximum 180 days
  • All data is fully anonymized and does not contain identifiable personal information

8. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to external sites (including OpenStreetMap). We are not responsible for the processing of personal data on these sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

We may update this policy in case of legislative changes or changes to our processes. We recommend checking this page regularly. The date of the last update can be found at the end of the document.
